Found a stray?

                           New pet but no paperwork?

Need your pet's chip number to update the address?

We will come to you and scan the animal from head to tail. If we discover a chip then we will make a note of the long number for you. We will then confirm which database the chip is registered to and will provide their contact number. Due to data protection laws, we will not be able to scan the animal and tell you the owner's name, you will have to phone the number we provide and they will give you this information.

Microchip Identification Scan   £20

No chip is found during the scan, but you want us to microchip them:

All you will pay is the fee for a single pet microchip - £27.

Important Information

BY LAW ALL DOGS MUST BE MICROCHIPPED

You risk facing a £500 fine if you do not comply.

Breeders must get their litters chippe BEFORE rehoming them.

The breeder must be the first name on the microchip.

Puppies can be microchipped from the age of 6 weeks old.

We understand that a lot of breeders are put off by the inconvenience of transferring the microchip into the new owner's name. We will run you through how to do this, it is a fast and simple process.

Cats & Rabbits

Why choose to microchip?

One of the main benefits of microchipping is that it significantly increases your chance of being reunited with a lost pet.

Rabbits are notorious escape artists and do not have the same geographical awareness of cats and dogs, it is unlikely that your rabbit will simply hop back home once they have left your garden.

Roaming cats can sometimes roam too far or spend so much time in one particular garden that the homeowner believes they have found a stray. Your missing posters and pleas for people to kindly check their sheds and garages rarely lead to a quick reunion. Collars can become lost and are often designed to open if your cat becomes tangled in any undergrowth.

Having a tiny passive microchip inserted between their shoulder blades ensures that your contact details and address are linked to your pet at all times. You are also able to mark your pet as missing or stolen, so if your pet is scanned it will flag up that they are to be returned to you.

The law has changed, from 10th June 2024, all cats in the UK must be microchipped.

Get your pets microchipped so they can find their way back to you.
